Brooklyn Flea

Now that Hubs is home for good (hooray), we are spending a lot of time doing ‘New York’ things.

Things we know we’ll miss when we leave.

Brooklyn Flea is one of our favorite NY things.

Generally, I go for the food and to drool at the furniture.

Now that I know we are going to be leaving soon, I hoard trinkets to remember NYC.

Its my coping mechanism. (at least that’s what I’ve been telling Husband)

The Deets:
Dress: H&M
Shoes: Ross
Bag: Fossil
(this pic is taken in the reflection of a mirror, Hubs was getting all artsy with the camera)
 See?
This is me hoarding buying type face tiles.  In my defense, I only buy the Ts, Rs, and Gs.

Home made ice pops people!!  That guy would scrape that big ice block and make sno cones and other icy yumminess.

Hubs has been talking about this certain artist since the last time we went to the flea in March.  The one thing he wanted before we left NY was a painting from this guy.  We looked and looked and finally found him!

He signed the back for us.  Honestly, I think we may go back and get a couple more screen prints from him. His stuff is so cool, its a combo of screen printing and free hand painting.

My final haul was a pair of earrings and 3 letter tiles.  Hubs got 2 ties and the screen print above.

We also had 2 life changing pulled pork sandwiches.

Pretty good little Saturday.
