Insta Friday

Happy Friday Nuggets!

This week has been bonkers.

Luckily I have a bazzillion pics from the last 2 weeks to share with you.

Although, some of them didn’t get Instagrammed (that’s a word right?)

Anyway, follow me or friend me or whatever the shiz you do on Instagram (MarriageByDesign)

So it’s been decently nice out the last few weeks (except for 5 straight days of rain that almost drove me over the edge).
In NY you can take your dogs to the bar/restaurant so long as they stay outside the metal barrier on the patio.  Shiner didn’t really like this rule.  She spent most of happy hour propped up on Husband’s lap.
Friggin diva dog.
My Husband has a super power: to single handedly find the cheapest/crappiest beer in all of Manhattan.
One night he suggested we go to this place in Greenwich called The Treehouse.  $3 pounders of Miller High Life.  Trash.
I try and remind him that we are no longer in college and recovering from horrible beer like this is more difficult now that we are, you know, ALMOST 30.
He doesn’t care.

You can see that I am none too pleased.  (not too pissed though cuz I drank them like a boss)

We spend a lot of time on patios drinking beer.  The people watching is premium.
Check out this guy’s bike with a boom box attached to the handle bar.
He stopped in the bar to use the restroom and left that boom box a-blaring while he was inside.
You just don’t see stuff like this everyday.
We did take a break from our patio boozing to have a nice picnic in the park.  The pups freaking LOVE going to the park for a picnic.  Just look at those hideously adorable faces!
To continue our trend of drinking outside, Husband and I went to the Empire Hotel for some cocktails on the roof.
Freaking awesome.
The view was spectacular, the weather was awesome and the drinks were NOT Miller High Life.
We had so much fun that we are actually going back tonight.
As you know, I went home for my 10 year reunion.  And you also know I took like 4 pictures.  This is one of them.  My baby sister moved into her first house with her girlfriends. One of her roommates has this little nugget.
Best. Puppy. Ever.
So well behaved and so squishy.
Our trip to the Midwest was uneventful until we got back to NY. We waited for a full hour for our shuttle.  We USUALLY take the train but we flew out so early on Thursday we didn’t want to chance the train.
Lesson learned.
Early flight – take the shuttle FOR THE EARLY FLIGHT ONLY
We actually ended up getting out off the shuttle van on 50th and broadway and took the subway the rest of the way home.
2 hours after we landed we were home.
life rearranged
