Wicked Snow

This is a random mishmash of stuff that happened this week.

First, Husband got me tickets to Wicked for my birthday.

This is the 2nd Broadway show I’ve seen and it was awesome.  Broadway shows amaze me.  The talent is amazing, the sets blow me away and I always wonder how these people can keep their energy up for 8 shows a week.

Insanity.

To save my ever loving life I could not find an outfit that looked cute to wear to this show. After tossing everything I own onto the closet floor, I pulled out my ol black and white ensemble from EBEW.  It’s hard to find what to wear when you’re on the arm of that fashion plate.

The walls going up to the theatre were illustrated with the map of Oz

The amazing set.  Lots of moving parts and things dropping in and people disappearing into the floor.  Very cool.

This week was the first snow that Husband and I have experienced in 5 (or possibly more) years.  I woke up to take the pups out and Husband shouted to me “it snowed… a lot”

I haven’t been that excited since a snowday in high school.

I tore to the window and squealed when I saw 5 inches of fresh snow on the ground.

I’ve been waiting for this day for a long time.

My dogs have never seen snow.  My hypothesis was that Sheldon would freaking love it and Shiner would hate us forever for making her go out in such conditions.

My hypothesis was 100% accurate.

See how Shiner has 2 paws off the ground?  She isn’t moving. Thats how she stands in the snow.  At one point she actually sat so far back on her bum that all 4 paws were off the ground.  She hated every second of it.
Big Sheldon on the other hand freaked his freak and wanted to play in the snow and sniff it and roll in it.
So Husband took him to the dog park and I took the diva back inside, where she gave me the death stare for the next 4 hours.

And now, the best part of this snow business: My mom sent Shiner booties for christmas.
If we thought she hated snow, we were about to see a whole new level of hatred.
Be prepared to laugh your ass off.
