Cheapy McCheaperson

So in between packing I go out and shop or get coffee or something. Anything to get me away from packaging tape (which, btw, I found a piece of in my hair the other day)

While I was at Target, I saw some makeup priced from $1-$3.

I was as shocked as you are.

So I thought it was worth a shot, considering my trip to Target was for concealer and eyeliner.

And if my face breaks out, well, its not like I get out that much anyway.

And my dogs don’t care about my face, as far as I know.

Verdict: Pretty awesome.

Its called e.l.f which apparently stands for eyes, lips, face.

Its not as good as some Clinique stuff I’ve used in the past but for a total of $7 for all 3 items its very comparable to cover girl stuff.

I tested out the concealer, the cream eyeliner, and the finishing spray.

The concealer ($1) was pretty good.  It smelled nice and went on very easily.

The cream eyeliner ($3) is the best.  It comes with a little brush that is very easy to use and it stays on.  When they say use eye make up remover, they mean it.  I slept in my makeup one night (don’t judge) and the next morning it wasn’t even smudged.

The mist and set spray($3) I will admit I bought because it sounded fancy.  I have no clue if it does anything.  Mentally I feel like I’ve ‘set’ my make up.  So I can accidently touch my face and not freak the eff out that I’ve smudged it.  Total mental game I’m playing with myself.  (again, don’t judge)

So now that I’ve tried out this e.l.f. brand, I’ll probably go back to Target and purchase a few more items to test.

Assuming, of course, that my dogs appreciate my getting all fancied up for them.
