Views of the Highline

I promised you pics of the Highline and that’s what you’re gonna get today.

The Highline is a  long, skinny elevated park built on an old railway line.

Its a unique little park and I happen to love that they have a little outdoor coffee stand right at the 14th street entrance.

That’s my kinda  park.

The elevator entrance at 14th Street
The Standard Hotel.  Fun fact I learned from my friend Terry: This is a big voyeur destination.  If you google ‘standard hotel windows’ in google images (AT YOUR OWN RISK) you’ll see what I’m talking about. At your own risk people! Be careful!

View of the Empire State Building from the Highline.
Little viewing area at 18th Street
This was set up on someone’s rooftop.  I loved this.
A mural going up on the side of a building.
Part of the old abandoned tracks.
A sculpture on the side of the Highline.
View of the Statue of Liberty from the Highline.
 Broken abandoned window.
Super reflective building.

Moral of the story is if you ever have a spare few hours in NYC, head to the Highline.  You won’t be disappointed.

Unless you don’t like naked people in the windows of the Standard.

You’ll just have to avert your eyes 🙂

P.S. This is what I wore to the Highline
