Day 8 of 30: Dress Down

Stop the presses.

My hair is down.

Not styled or done just blow dried, but down in 100 degree weather nonetheless.

This “skirt” is actually a dress.  I’ve never converted a dress into a skirt before but I needed a skirt and I traded one of my 2 skirts in this challenge for my new 7 For All Mankind jeans. The sacrifices we make….

The Deets:
Top: Marshalls
Skirt aka Dress: Marshalls
Belt: Not a clue
Shoes: Target
Bracelet: Forever 21
Ring: Thrifted from Portobello Market in London
Nail Polish: Sally Hanson Salon Effects

This nail polish is the bizzle.  Its sorta like a stick on nail polish.  It takes about .5 seconds per nail and it doesn’t have to dry.  For $8 at Walmart and the promise to last 10 days I’ll say its a bargain.

So are you guys sick of these shoes yet?

Me either.  When I said these are like my flip flops I wasn’t messing around.

I’ll be on a plane tomorrow heading for MN.  I’ve lined up a super special guest post for you tomorrow.  I wouldn’t want to leave you hanging.

That would be rude.

i have a pair of sandals that i can’t seem to take off. every day, they somehow end up on my feet. which is okay, i think. summer is about making concessions to things that make our lives easier. and your hair is beautiful…i’m amazed you’re wearing it down! i can’t seem to leave mine down for more than 5 minutes during these months.
    ANYways. you look fabulous.
