Decorating for Fall
Probably the least clever title ever.
Anyhoo, there are 2 linky parties going on in the interwebs: a Fall Mantel Party at Nesting Place and a Fall Open House at Hooked on Houses
Because I kinda phoned in this post, you can go to either one of those links and find bunches of fun ideas to steal inspire you for fall. Now, for Halloween, I go balls to the wall with decorations. So I’ll let you in on that when the time comes.
So here is my mantel, the best one I’ve done for fall in a long time.
Deets: From left to right, glass cylinder from walmart filled with nuts on top of books from the goodwill (cheapy decorator here). Candlesticks from the goodwill with bright orange glittery candles. Next, brass planter thingy from walmart filled with foliage from hobby lobby. Next, another goodwill candlestick from goodwill with another fantastic blingtastic candle. Finally, 2 white candlesticks from hobby lobby with brown hobby lobby candles.
This is on top of our TV armoire. Deets: white vase from hobby lobby, blue vase from (where else) the goodwill, harvest plate from Husbands grandma, pumpkin candle thingy…. I have no idea.
So there you have it. What little decorating i did for fall. (but seriously go to The Nesting Place and Hooked on Houses and check out all the phenom decor out there) Now if it would drop below 90 maybe I’ll get in the fall mood before Christmas.
Cute decorations, looking forward to the Halloween decorations as well 🙂
Your mantel looks beautiful! You aren’t giving yourself enough credit girl! Glad I found your blog from Hooked on Houses. 🙂

Your mantel is beautiful – very sophisticated! You’d never guess you did it on the cheap. Nice work!
(I’m totally working my way through ALL the mantels on The Nester’s fantel party, hence the late comment!
