Dirty Rotten Scoundrels

Last night we saw Dirty Rotten Scoundrels at Theater L’Homme Dieu here in Alexandria.  (FYI the locals pronounce it la-homma-do)

It was obvs based on the movie but this is the Broadway version so it was a musical.  How clever is that?  Of course my favorite character is Muriel of Omaha.  She also had some of the funniest lines. 

Coincidence?  I doubt it. 

This is what I wore to the performance.  Yes, I’m aware that I wore this shirt 3 days ago. It’s new and when I get a new shirt/skirt/shoes I wear it incessantly until Husband tells me said article of clothing needs to be washed.

This is the retaining wall  leading to the lake behind my in laws house.  They just re did all this stone work and it is sooooooo nice!  I’ll show you more pics of this back yard very soon! 

In other news, it’s hotter than balls here. Like Houston hot.  Such is our luck.  We drove 2000 miles for the same weather. 

At least there’s a lake out the back door.
