Falling for Autumn
I love fall. I love it! Even in Houston, where leaves don’t fall and the weather doesn’t turn cool until its Christmas. I still love fall. I took out all my fall decorations this week. After Ike hit Houston, the weather turned to the high 70s (which feels like fall to us Houstonians) and I was inspired to deck the halls with leaves and pumpkins. I also spent a great deal of time searching the internet for new decorating ideas. Here are some of my faves!
I used this wreath as inspiration for the wreath hanging on our door. I can’t bring myself to pay $50 for a wreath so I bought supplies to make my own!
Here’s the wreath I made. I went with more orange than yellow and gold but I think it goes nicely with our blue door.
Since I didn’t use wheat in my wreath, I used it on the fireplace mantle.
I am itching to glitter a skull like this one! I found this on the Pottery Barn website but I know with a trip to Hobby Lobby I could make one for myself.
I love your wreath!!
