Nerd Alert

What I am about to reveal is embarrassing.

Back story: I get about a bazillion magazines in the mail. I love them. I save the ones that have pictures that I want to steal use for inspiration.

Enter Husband.

Husband hates clutter and apparently my mags are considered clutter. How dare he. So, I had to come up with a solution so my inspiration wouldn’t get trashed.

I started ripping out all the pages that I liked and put them in a binder. So now every time I need something to copy inspiration, I just page through the binder.

Starts out with holiday inspirations mostly from Pottery Barn Catalog and Martha Stewart Living.

Christmas!

This is the page I’m using now. Pottery Barn has tons of great Easter/Spring inspiration.

The back page is my inspiration boards (this is my living room) and on the other side…

All the paint chips I’ve used throughout the house.

The most embarrassing thing about this is that I am running out of space in my current binder. Now when catalogs or magazines come in the mail, I can’t wait to deface them and rip out all the pages. And yes, I put them in page protectors. (hangs head in shame)
