Super Awesome Thrifting

I don’t know what it is about the Midwest but thrifting here is awesome pawsome.

I used pawsome instead of possum because possum makes me thing of possums and those things are gross and not awesome at all.

Here is my latest haul.

Super colorful scarf, 2 sets of non pierced earrings, and a super oldy moldy book.

These are the earrings that disfigured my earlobes.  I am so sad about that because these are hoops and I have always wanted to wear hoops. Not many non pierced hoop earrings out there folks.  Trust me I’ve done the leg work. Especially, at $1 which is what I bought these for.  I’m trying to figure out if I can loosen up the clips so they don’t take my earlobes off the next time I wear them.

Love these little twist back earrings.  They are my only colored pair that I own so far.  $2 baby.  Whammy!

I’ve been on the hunt for scarves to wear on my head like this.  And I found this one for $2 and wore it here.

And my favorite find of all is this book.  After looking in thrift stores we went into a used book store.

I died.  I looooove that smell.  Moldy oldy dusty smell of old books.

So I was drawn to this one because of the cover, first, and then because of this…..

I will instantly buy a book with an inscription.  Always.

Used book sellers, listen up: if you have a book that has an inscription I will buy it.  Much to Husbands disappointment.

Just started reading this book today.  I almost never read the old books I buy but for whatever reason I feel like I need to read this one.  Shall let you know if its good.

Happy Weekend Peeps!!

I LOVE your luck with thrifting. I would love to check out some more thrift stores to start collecting weird/unique things.
