The Cold Hard Facts
Fact: I have not experienced winter in a real way in 5 years.
Fact: It is currently 13 degrees outside.
Fact: My dogs tolerate the cold better than I do. And Shiner pup is the biggest damned diva dog you’ll ever encounter.
Fact: I grew up in Nebraska and went to college in Minnesota. What the hell is my problem? Back in those days if it wasn’t below zero it wasn’t cold.
Fact: After walking the dogs this morning my nose ran like a faucet for hours. I fully believe that I have developed some undiscovered ‘freezing temp’ allergy. I am prescribing myself lots of chocolate and wine.
Fact: I am a huge baby cuz Husband has been living in 100 degree heat for the last 6 weeks and when he gets home I’m positive his body will go into shock and demand lots of wine beer and chocolate to bring it back to life.
Fact: I will be a hermit until the temps reach 30 degrees again. Unless it rains. Then I’m definitely staying inside and watching You’ve Got Mail for the billionth time.
